Blue Sea Tours is a private tour booking agent. We work with the best hand selected tour guides who are dependable, conscientious, knowledgeable and trustworthy. It's your vacation and you want to make the most of it!. The advantages of a private tour are many, but let's compare to other options that you have:
- Large Tour Companies: I call them cattle herders, just because that's what it feels like to me when I am forced to wait in line to get on a bus or into an attraction. I want to do what I want when I am on vacation, not wait in line to do something that someone else thinks I want to do. Book your tour with us and your local tour guide will ask you what you want to do. They will also have relationships with the staff at the larger attractions and normally walk you right past that line. They will also know the best restaurants (not just the ones that can handle a bus load) and understand if you would rather experience the local flavor of a street vendor or prefer fine dining. Above all you will just get more out of your vacation day by having a local guide sharing his knowledge of his homeland with you.
- Picking a guide at the dock: Yes, you might find a great tour guide on the dock if we don't have a tour booked for them that day because that's where they will be. How are you going to identify them from the rest? We hand select our guides and accept only the best! Instead of listening to a whole group of people clamoring for your business it's much easier to meet the one holding a sign with your name on it, the one that is prepared to show you the experience of a lifetime.
- Exploring on your own: We admire your spirit! But wait; don't you want the experience of a local guide who know the best places? The knowledge of local pricing and the transportation provided will probably provide a savings in excess of the tour cost and you will have a much more enjoyable experience at the best locations in the area.
What does our service Cost you?
Nothing really, we charge a $20 per person booking fee at the time of booking and your tour guide has agreed to discount your tour by that same $20 at the time of the tour. So our service is FREE to you!

We absolutely LOVE the Tropics! The chance to interact with new cultures, learn their history and experience the local food. The chance to enjoy the sun and the sea. Nothing compares to the thrill we get from exploring an island for the first time. While we both love to snorkel, Rowena enjoys shopping for locally made crafts and Jon would rather spend that time scuba diving. We have been traveling extensively in the Caribbean and Southeast Asia for over twenty years and have made many friends throughout the islands. We have found over the years that the experience is vastly improved by using a local tour guide, either by ourselves or with one or two other couples. The big tour company's charge by the head and use buses and big boats to herd people on and off, while this certainly reduces the per person transportation cost it normally just increases their profit. Small tours are typically just about the same cost, and if we want to stop at a roadside stand or enjoy a scenic view... We can!
We started Blue Sea Tours to share our experience, it takes time to find the best tour guide. We wanted to find a way to reward the best tour guides available, because they are now our friends. Every tour available from Blue Sea Tours will be guided by someone we personally know and many times have met their family as well.
